Obtaining Telegram IDs
For the #ban and #cban commands, you will need to know the user’s numeric Telegram ID. This number is shown in Cosmobot’s passed captcha messages. You can also obtain the ID a few other ways:
Forward a message to Cosmobot
In response to the forwarded message Cosmobot will list basic user details including id, as long as the user’s privacy settings allow it.
Use Telegram Desktop
On Telegram desktop, turn on experimental feature to view ID from settings > advanced > experimental settings.
Use Telegram Web
If you use Telegram web (A version), grab the user id from the address bar in - need to open a chat with the user and the id will be in the address bar, for instance: https://web.telegram.org/z/#1153721606. The ID of this user is 1153721606
